Our resident Caithness teuchter, Andrew, joined the practice as a pre-reg Dispensing Optician way back in 1999 after qualifying from Glasgow Caledonian University. 24 years, one happy marriage and two children later he is still here, albeit showing a few signs of wear and tear! Andrew’s extensive optical knowledge and experience help ensure our customers end up with eyewear that both looks great and suits their visual needs. Always keen to expand his professional knowledge, Andrew is just about to start a post graduate course in Myopia Management which will allow us to continue providing the highest level of optical care to our young patients.
Andrew loves a challenge so if you would like something a bit different, need spectacles for an unusual task or require a repair to existing spectacles then he is the man to speak to.
Out with work Andrew enjoys cycling and racquet sports (when his aging body allows it) and is involved in a number of community and sports groups.
